Chevrolet Corvette 1989 Description

Up for sale is this excellent condition 1989 Corvette convertible. The car has original red paint, ed leather interior and white convertible top. It has been garaged its whole life and has only 25079 original miles. The car was purchased from the original owners that purchased it new in Texas. When I purchased the car I had Mid Cities Classics go through the car and replace anything that was in question (this was due to storage and infrequent driving). This includes the following:

  • New Tires (245/45ZR-17 Sumitomo HTR Z 3 fronts / 245/45ZR-18 Sumitomo HTR Z 3 rears)
  • MAF sensor and relay
  • MAF burn off sensor and relay
  • Cooling fan motor and relay
  • Bosch 22# fuel injectors (the original injectors were not reliable and always stopped working)
  • New EGR valve (rubber diaphragm had hole from sitting to long)
  • New intake and manifoldgaskets (all pulled off and cleaned)
  • ECM - came with car so we changed it out
  • Recent 4 wheel alignment
  • New headlight motors

Also did a complete tune up:

  • Spark plugs
  • Plug wires
  • New Alternator (the rear main bearing tends to whine on this year)
  • Hypertech power coil, ap, nd rotor
  • Ignition module
  • Air filer
  • Radiator flush
  • full motor flush

The issues we have seen with the car and have yet to fix:

  • 3 inch paint scratch on drivers side
  • Drivers side speaker or amp is cracking
  • Passenger side speaker is not working
  • Drivers side door ajar switch is not working
Other than that, his car just needs to be driven. We have driven the car several hundred miles and have noticed the car is getting better and better as it gets driven!!!

The car is in great shape and has a lot of options - please see all pictures.The car has been driven very little since purchase. We purchased the car for a weekend cruiser but plans have changed and will be movingout of state soon and cannot take car with us. Any questions just let me know.
