Hi folks, ooking for something different to drive to the car shows? Check out this 1931 Chevrolet Custom Street Rod 5 Passenger Coupe. Very rare model which looks like a Ford Vicky. Chevrolet only made them for 2 years, 931 and 1932. Straight rust free steel body with a 2 1/2" chop. Full steel floor pan installed. 1932 Ford grille assembly replaced the original 31 Chevy grille. Still has some of the original wood which is in great shape. All the windows are lexan. The original frame was boxed and shorten in the rear. Chrome plated 1936 Ford front suspension installed. 1961 Ford pick up steering box. Rear axle is a Mopar 8 3/4. Quarter eliptical springs with old school traction bars. 1960's Steward Warner Deluxe gauges in dash. Fuel tank was moved inside the trunk and the rear frame was modified for a cleaner look. The engine is a 1965 389 Pontiac with a 1960's Mickey Thompson blower. Bored .060 with forged pistons and H-beam connecting rods. The bottom end assembly was balanced. 6X cylinder heads which were ported and treated to a 5 angle valve job. Lunati flat tappet hydraulic camshaft. Mallory distributor with a MSD 6-AL ignition box. Custom headers and full exhaust. The transmission is a 4-speed M22 Rock Crusher with a Center Force clutch assembly. The seats are bomber style which look period correct. Custom tuck and roll interior, ust needs carpet or rubber mat. Sounds great and runs awesome. You are welcome to come and inspect the vehicle in person. Feel free to call or text with questions.
