This is a local El Camino that we got from its long term owner. We believe this El Camino to have its original 396 c.i. 350 h.p. V8 engine, 00 Transmission and 12 bolt differential. The carburetor was replaced years ago and so that is the one item that is not original. This vehicle was also color changed to a very dark metallic green which now how primered spots as you can see in the photos. This was a very poor quality paint refinish. The body and underside of the vehicle look very solid. The only rust through we see on the body are the left front corner of the drivers door and the adjoining fender. There is also a crack in the lead filling the body seam on the left pillar panel behind the drivers door. The El Camino drivers out good as you can see in the video. It does need a tune up but the powertrain seems to be in good basic mechanical condition.
