Up for sale in our Houston showroom is a one off 1965 Chevy Malibu with a 327 V8 with 327hp traveling through a 700R4 transmission shifted courtesy of a red and chrome B&M shifter. The rear end gear is a 3:55 to launch the car effortlessly and still allow lower rpm’s while utilizing the 4 speed transmission. At the top of that sinister mill is a Holly Carburetor on a nice Edelbrock aluminum intake and a mild cam. This small block is decked out with red custom valve covers and Headman headers. They breathe through a custom dual exhaust system that exits in front of the back wheels on each side that looks amazing. In front of this engine is an aluminum radiator, polished power steering components and custom black hood hinges to make the engine compartment clean and cohesive. Upon glancing at the Malibu it’s very apparent that plenty of hours were spent on painting the pewter metallic paint and replacing the chrome with black. The interior is a nice deep red that matches the exterior tastefully. The seatbelts are black and accent the interior well. The front end has been restored including new axles and bushings to maintain that new car feel. On all four corners you will find new brakes and shocks with new springs to make this beauty sit low to add to its menacing look.
