Chevrolet Bel Air/150/210 1956 Description

For Sale is a 1956 Chevy Belair 4 Door Hardtop. This is the very first year Chevrolet had a 4 door hardtop. It has a 6 Cylinder engine and a 3 speed manual transmission on the column. This is a good old car. it starts right up every time. nbsp;it runs and drives good. it shifts good. and stops good. it will need exhaust work. The lights work on the car. headlights. high and low beams. nbsp;tail lights. nbsp;and turn signals. a few bulbs need replaced. It's pretty solid and has a good body for a tri 5 car. The floors and supports for this belair are better than usual. the driver front floor pan is the worst part of the car. it needs replaced. nbsp;the driver rear floor pan and a few other spots could be fixed with some pur 15 or replaced depending on what kind of car you want. for the most part the floors are good. There are a few bad spots on the rockers but overall they are good. The floor supports and inner rockers are good for this car only having a couple of bad spots. The trunk is in exceptionally good condition for this old chevy. nbsp;the rear shock towers are in great shape and the tire well is very nice. The frame is solid and in good shape. Some of the glass in the car has a few cracks but all of the windows roll up and down. you may have to help them. but they work. The front seat is not correct on this car. The wheels shown on the car will not come on the car. The car will come with what appears to be original style wheels with tires that hold air. The car is running of a gallon can in the engine department. the gas tank is in the car and possibly could be used. This is a pretty complete old car that you can fix up and restore or leave it alone and have a great time. I cannot remember every detail but I have described this old car to the best of my ability. I recommend you come and look at the car. I have a hoist and you can look at the car in detail.
