Vehicle was bought from a person who's heart was not into finishing the vehicle. It was bought by two people who were going to finish it and put it into a Classic Cab taxi situation and create a business to own classic cars and be able to write them off. Good thought - you can borrow it- but we had too many other obligations to follow through with.
As the car sits, here is over $14,500 invested in it. It has a 327 4 barrel coupled with a 4 speed tranny that was put together from the person we bought it from. Lots of power!! We added the wheels and tires and many new items. New wiring, rakes, as tank, as lines, adiator, adiator shroud, joints, ie rods, ater pump, auges, attery housing and brackets, riginal bumpers rechromed, tc. As we were making this into a classic every day driver, e put new into the things that were needed.
Previous owner re-upholstered the seats and had matching carpet. We had the weak areas of the floorboard cut out and welded in steel for solid floorboards.
