Chevrolet Bel Air/150/210 1955 Description
I bought this car about a year ago from the previous owner who owned it for about 11 years. The car started as a show 1/4 mile car and was purchased as an unfinished project. He decided to go another direction with the build, he big block was already built and was said to produce almost 700HP, e changed the cam, owered the compression so that it would run on premium pump gas. He removed the 1000 CFM Demon carb and put on a 750cfm double pumper. The hi rise intake stayed on the motor as did the 9" rear end with disc brakes. The 3000 stall converter was removed and replaced with a more street-able converter. He added power steering, isc brakes and classic car a/c. He wanted to be able to drive to car shows and cruise ins. The paint is over 10 years old and still looks beautiful, e said he paid alot for the paint and it shows. The interior was finished out in leather, eats, oor panels and headliner. The dash is a work of art with the custom gauges and the billet ball milled dash. The trunk is also finished out to show quality. The motor runs cool and has a healthy idle at 1100 RPMs. The body is free from rust and just about every nut and bolt is coated or stainless steel. The quality of the work is top notch. It is alot of fun to drive, owever you need to respect the throttle, t will get sideways in a hurry. It has a fuel cell under the trunk pan along with an electric fuel pump. The gauges work, owever the speedometer need to be set or calibrated. The right turn indicator on the dash works, he left indicator does not light up. The wheels are torque thrust aluminum wheels that fit the wheels wells, t has not been tubded like a pro street car. It has been a crowd pleaser at the local car shows. I like to come and go as I please so I have not entered it, eople hound me every time to put it in the show. Check out the pictures and watch the video, his is one sweet 55. Give us a cal with any question you may have.
