However if you don't have 50-60K to spend and just looking for a nice car that is ready to drive show and enjoy then keep reading. Up for sale is a nice 1955 Chevrolet 2 door post. This car is ready to enjoy! It offers a good solid frame floors etc. This 55 has been restored approx. 5 years or so and we were told it has had approx. 25k miles placed on it since its completion. It has been garage kept since its completion and only driven in nice weather to local shows and cruise inns. It is finished in the very popular turquoise and white. The paint is nice slick and clean and what I would consider to be very nice above driver quality with normal wear that is to be expected from any vehicle that has been driven and enjoyed. Rate the paint an 8 on a scale of 1 to 10 with a 10 being perfect. All of the chrome and glass is also in excellent condition. The stainless has been polished and shines bright but is not flawless due to a few minor dings. It is riding on 15x8 inch Corvette rally wheels with new white letter tires. Nice old school look that looks great!!The floors body mounts etc. are very solid with NO signs of rust or patchwork. It is clean throughout and shows well. The engine compartment is clean and nicely detailed and filled with a 350 engine with aluminum intake and 4 barrel carb and breathes through exhaust manifolds and aluminized exhaust pipes with flowmaster mufflers. This ole 55 runs and sounds awesome!! The engine is mated to a flawless shifting 4 speed transmission and stock rear end. This car is equipped with power steering and power disc brakes. It hits the road excellent and is a pleasure to drive! The lights. signals . horn radio work. Typical of all old classic cars they all need attention to something here is what we found this one needs. The reverse lights and wipers do not work. The interior looks great also and was also completely restored during the restoration. It is clean throughout and is very nice!VA.
