Chevrolet Monte Carlo 1972 Description

1972 Chev Monty Carlo. 59. 00 actual miles. 350 4 barrel - turbo 350 - Factory Bucket Seats with center console and shifter. Tilt wheel - Front Disc Brakes. I purchased this car from the son of the original owner here in town. She passed away. The car has never had so much as a door dent. All metal is perfectly straight. Bumpers and all trim (other than 2 bottom moldings) are untouched original and in very good condition. All glass is original and without damage. The windows all go up and down perfectly. The undercarriage other than a small amount of rust on the front suspension only is all excellent. The interior bucket seats. rear seat. door panels. headliner. carpet are all new. The owner painted other interior pieces. eat backs etc and changed the factory tan color to black. He used a high gloss and it looks like crap. You will need to redo the dash panel and other pieces and detail. . The grille - tail lights - and trim are all excellent. The car had a color change from the factory gold color to a silver. It was a cheap job and will need to be redone. There was some rust bubbles in the deck lid that were sanded off and primed over and some bubbles over the top of the rear wheels and a small hole it the bottom of the right front fender that will need attention. The left front piller trim is missing. The after market radio does not work nor do turn signals. When I bought the car it had not run for quite a period of time. We installed a new battery and some fuel and it started easy. It smoked bad for a little then got much better. I drove it home (about 10 miles) and it got better. It may clean up with some miles. It ran and drives perfectly. There were 2 new flowmaster mufflers installed the last time it was out. The center console and shifter are pretty much perfect. (have you priced these bucket seats and consoles lately? ) That's pretty much it. If you are thinking you are bidding on a show car you'd be wrong but it is an easy fix and will be a good car. I have represented this car honestly. See my feedback. I have built many high quality show cars in my 69 years. I had planned to install a factory LS7-454 that sits in my garage into this car but just purchased a high dollar 427 car so this thing needs to go. I am not looking for an appraisal - I want it sold - GOOD LUCK. On Apr-30-15 at 11:23:28 PDT. seller added the following information:I have been asked a few times. Is there any rust either in the trunk or around windsheild or rear glass corners. There is zero rust nor has there ever been in either glass area. I pulled the glued down carpet from the trunk floor and it looks new. Not even so much as any light surface rust.
