This long term 1 owner survivor might be the nicest example 3rd generation Silverado 4X4 Crew Cab 6. 2L diesel in the country. With only 92. 00 miles. it's barely broken in and feels like a trip back in time to 1986. Remarkable condition. it was used solely as a recreation vehicle that had an overhead camper on it most of it's life. AutoCheck report included. scored a 60 on a 'similar vehicle score' scale of 29-53. Glove box options list is a mile long!Exterior is rust free and way. way. way better than average condition. A few minor scratches (all touched up and documented in photo link below). Undercarriage is rust free and well maintained. No leaks (at least that make it to the shop floor) or issues from the trans. transfer case. motor. or suspension. Interior is stunning. Tilt. tow package. trailer brakes. dual tanks. dual exhaust. all power. . in fact. every single option available in 86 appears to be on this truck. Brand new A/C compressor with R134 conversion kit. Truck is truly turn key ready for use. All interior and exterior lights (including all running/marker lights) work. Motor runs flawlessly without issue. With amazing low end power. the truck fires right up. first try every time cold or hot. does not smoke. and runs with the confidence only a low mile vehicle can have. The 6. 2L Diesel was GM's best ever built. Not the fastest. but definitely the strongest. longest lasting. trouble free example to date. This motor came in the original Hummers and was also used in multiple military applications. including blazers. trucks. and Humvees. The Turbo 400 trans feels very strong and has no issues whatsoever. Shifting is swift and sure. 4wd/transfer case with locking hubs (hidden behind the chrome dust covers) in good working order. Power steering and power brakes work effortlessly without issue. This is one rare truck. Very few examples ever sold in the first place. and the ones that were. got used. in most cases. very used. This is really the king of the generation 3 GM trucks. the biggest. the most optioned. and the most expensive (by far) to own at the time. Growing up in ranch country. if you had one of these. your were one of the big dogs. I always wanted one. never thought I would find one worth owning this long after the 80's. but here it is!
