1955 Chevy Pro Street handyman 2 door wagon. Here is it!!!!! whether you want to go cruising to shows or just make little kids cry you will love this true HOT ROD. This original 1955 Handyman wagon is fully tubbed out with a Ford 9 inch. ladder bar suspension. coilover shocks. huge 32 X 15 Mickey Thompson sportsman tires on weld Prostar aluminum rims. Brand new paint. blood red metallic/gold flake with base coat and clear on the roof and dash and the entire body was just repainted in fresh hot rod satin black. Motor is a very stout 383 sbc stroker with aluminum heads. roller rockers. nbsp; polished dual quad intake and dual Holley 600 cfm carburetors. Makes about 500 hp ON PUMP GAS. electric fuel pump. waterpump and fan. runs COOL. New sparkplugs. wires and tune up. Transmission is a 4 speed Muncie with Hurst shifter to bang gears to your hearts delight. Disturbance of the peace is provided by a 3" exhaust with flowmasters turned out in front of the rear wheels. . Runs awesome!. brand new braking system which includes modern power booster and master cylinder with integrated line lock. all new brake lines. runs drives stops. all lights work. gauges etc. . dashboard painted same color as the roof. INTERIOR was freshened with new carpet. door panels. rear interior panels and updated trim (needs headliner). dual race seats with race seat belts. Also have a bench seat from an A-body (needs recover) but I will include it with the car if someone would prefer a bench seat. Overall this is a great hot rod / rat rod driver car that you can have fun driving. and tinkering with but it's not a show car but very fun and respectable. Car will be sold with former CT registration and official CT bill of sale. THE HOOD: With the car comes a clean original GM 55 uncut hood. I want to offer the hood without a hole in case my hot rod lovers had different plans then the dual quads on the car. I also have extra hot rod black paint to paint it.
