1947 Chevrolet Fleetline Original MN car. any major rust areas have been fixed. older restoration about 20 years ago. Interior was all redone at that time. Rear fenders were molded into body. car recently went through major suspension and handling changes the winter of 2014. Car has been in many parades car shows its always been a looker. also been at Back the fifties at mn state fairgrounds ExteriorBody is in really good shape for its age. The rear fender to body is cracking at rear roll pan area not real bad but needs to be touched up. Few dings and scratches in the paint. but is very good driver quality. 18” chrome wheels with excellent rubber. horizon blue / deep ocean blue BrakesNew disc brakes in front. rebuilt rear drums. new under-floor power brake unit with dual master cylinder. All new brake lines and proportioning valves. Working E-brake. SuspensionMachined upper control arms to accept a gas shock and discontinued knee action shocks. Cut one coil from front coil springs. installed rear shock mounting bar and new gas shocks. New sway bar end links. Power rack and pinion. The front has been lowered 4 and the rear 3 1/4". Driveline1952 235 inline 6 cylinder. 85. 00 original miles with rebuild new pistons around 10 years ago. Speedway split headers. Power rack and pinion steering and 63 amp alternator. Installed 4-speed S10 transmission with floor shifter. 1976 Camaro posi rear end 2. 42 gears. custom built drive shaft. New true dual 2”exhaust with Thrush mufflers. InteriorInterior is a 9 out of 10 beautiful two-toned. all was re-done when car was restored. Gauges were restored as needed. New Dolphin speedo and tach. GM style tilt column with new leather wrapped steering wheel. All windows and vents open and close easily. Some of the glass is clouding on the edges. After all the suspension and braking upgrades last winter. we have put over 2. 00 miles on the car and it now gets 21. 6 mpg. It now cruises at 60 mph at 2000 RPMs. It’s not a powerhouse but an excellent cruiser. It could easily have a V8 swapped in if you chose to go that route. Car runs and drives. steers. brakes excellent.
