1949 Chevrolet 3100 FLAMING HOT DEAL!!! California Truck. This Truck was 100% Restored and then it caught fire as you can see. It did get hot but not destroyed, ts still a very solid candidate to restore back to new or just Rat rod it out. The Sheet metal over all is in good shape other then some dents over its lifetime. The hood and roof did stretch slightly from the heat,tried to get it in the pictures but hard to see. The floors seem to be original and a small rust area in the passenger side floorboard corner. I purchased this truck from an auction and was planning on keeping it but cant. The only thing i replaced were the 2 front tires to make it a roller. The front brake lines are no good so no brakes but i use the clutch/transmission to stop. Steering is tight with ZERO slop in it. Motor still has oil in it, id not try to turn it over. Door handles and window cranks work as they should but no glass. The paint in the front flaked off but the rear part of the truck still has the paint that is bubbled up. Truck was yellow but paint turned black from smoke/heat. You can rod this truck out restore it, o many possibilities!! Will come with a California NON REPAIRABLE title, hat means this truck is only good for parts in California but the title will possibly work in other states to register.
