1957 Chevy pickup with full custom air ride setup. Original frame. Front suspension is Mustang II with tubular control arms and new manual rack and pinion steering. Rear suspension is a customparallel4 link with watts link. 2 piece custom drive shaft was used so the cab didn't need to be cut for clearance. RE6 Slam bags in the front and RE7 Slam bags in the rear. Dual VIAIR 444 compressors feed a 5 gallon aluminum tank and air management is handled by an ACCUAIR VU4 manifold and E-LEVEL controller to handle the height settings. Body is all original steel with no rust and paint has nice patina. Wheels are from a 69 corvette with BF Goodrich G-Force tires. Brand new bed wood with original strips in bed. New wiring harness with fuse panel. Optima yellow top battery. Dash is original and unmolested, loors are all original with no rust or patch panels. Interior was sound deadened with FATMAT and has a new seat cover on the original seat, ew carpet, ew headliner, nd new sun visor. Tilt aftermarket steering column with a 63 nova steering wheel (horn does not work). Rebuiltgauge cluster (speedometer works but is not hooked up to the transmission, t needs a new speedo gear) All holes in firewall have been shaved. (all holes were plugged and welded with steel. NO BONDO WAS USED) Engine is a rebuilt SBC 307 from a 69chevelle. It has rebuilt 350 heads an edelbrock intake, olley 4 barrel carb, orvette ram horn manifolds, andrel bent dual exhaust with smithy mufflers, ew billet HEI distributor, ewmoroso wires, luminum radiator. Transmission is a Saginaw 3 speed with a hurst floor shifter. (shifts great! Fun to drive) New clutch last year. Chrome on bumpers is great and all glass is good with no cracks. Actual mileage on vehicle is unknown.
I have owned and enjoyed the truck for 5 years but its time for a new toy!
