1981 Corvette. 58. 00 miles. Needs restoration. SPRING TIME PROJECT-- NO TRADES. Mechanical's are good. Runs. drives. stops very well. Has a 350. 270 HP Crate motor with about 2500 miles on it. Auto Trans. Power windows. Power Locks T Tops. Tilt/Tele Column. Original Polished Aluminum wheels with good tires. Tight quiet exhaust. Body is pretty straight. I don't see any major repairs. The nose is the original- (I inspected the wheel wells. The car NEEDS PAINT. The frame and under carriage is clean- rust and rot free- with excellent body mounts. No issues there. The car was painted in a garage by an amateur and it shows. The paint is cracked. peeling or orange peeled. The interior is the same. tired. However. the car is a real 58k mile car. The last owner bought it. tried to paint it got discouraged and let it sit outside. Title shows 55. 79 in 2007. He got it 7 years ago and never really drove it after he "painted" it. It now has 58. 00. I planned on rescuing the car but it is not feasible for me at this time. If you are going to restore one of these cars might as well do it on a low mile car. Good car mechanically. poor cosmetically. The interior is complete. but tired. NEEDS PAINT. Head lights do not go up and down. Passenger window does not go up and down. AC does not work.
