1948 Chevy Tow Truck / Vintage Car HaulerUp for sale is a 1948 Chevy tow truck / vintage car hauler. It has a 1955 through 62 235 Six cylinder with a granny 4 speed and a two speed rear-end. Runs and drives but but need brake work. These trucks are very rare these days. it has the factory homes winch and bed. There is also a receiver hitch on it. My plan was to remove the winch and make a car hauler out of it. but I have too many projects. Most of these trucks went away with the old wrecking yards and gas stations and have been scrapped and turn into Toyota's. You will be hard pressed to find another one still on the road and have a chance to own a piece of automotive history.
