1966 Chevrolet Chevelle, of 11,468 Post cars.
I bought this car from an estate sale and it was with the same owner its entire life. This car has 30,000 original miles! I have all the original paperwork from the dealership when the car was purchased. The build sheet, ealership purchase agreement and trade-in paperwork! The Protectoplate and lots of receipts from the drive train build.
It was painted once 11 years ago but it doesn't show it. It is the original color. The body is laser straight. Their is no filler of any kind in the body anywhere. Bumpers are original too. The car was never in any accidents and all body panels are original.
The interior is all original. I replaced the package tray because it was so faded and the weather stripping around the doors and truck. But other than that everything is original and untouched. The car shows a nice patina throughout the interior but no rips or tears of any kind. Nothing is broken or damaged. This car was very well taken care of throughout its life. The drive train was updated about 7 years ago and the car saw about 4000 miles since the update. the motor, rans and rear end were removed. The 400ci was bored .15 to a 406, omp Cam, ooker headers, eiand intake and Holley carb was installed. The trans was rebuilt for performance. The car shifts very tight. She will bark every gear. The 10 bolt rearend got upgraded axles and all new 411 gears with Posi traction. A 3 core radiator was added with dual puller fans to keep everything nice and cool. There is not a drop of oil coming from this car anywhere.
The wheels and tires are like new. 275/60/R15 tires on the back and 245/60/R15 on the front. Those are some wide tires for this car and give it a aggressive stance. Other than the meaty tires she is a sleeper. When those 4 Barrels kick you know it!
