This truck is not built like the typical 47-54 on a S-10 frame, everything was built very solid, cab mounts, running board mounts, bumper brackets etc. Lots of planning and fab work has been done.
on the side to build this truck. All the air lines are ran through rubber hoses and grommets, secured nicely, this truck isa reliable driverthats why the S10 chassis and the
parts were chose, any wearable part on the truck can be purchased from a normal parts store. I highly doubt anyone will be disappointed when seen in person, its built like a hot rod just without the expensive paint and body work. The truck is always a huge hit around town, carshows and cruise ins, can drive anywhere.Recently rotated the tires and changed the oil, can inlcude a spare tire, lug wrench and jack with the truck. Have a clean and clear Iowa titlein hand.
Suspension and chassis:
S-10 chassis, stripped and painted with POR-15 and satin black paint along with all suspension
Michigan Metal Works control arms, Moog ball joints and drop spindles
Slam Specialties SS7 bags, Cando Specialties reverse cantilever 4 link
4 wheel disc brakes, drilled/slotted rotors, new calipers, pads, hoses, wheel bearings and seals
Airlift V2 air management, 8 adjustable preset ride heights, 4 corner adjustment, color change, lots more!
Dual Viair 444 compressors, SMC upgraded check valves and 5 gallon tank with water trap
Wheels and Tires:
General Grabber AT2 tires 225/70R15,Cragar Deluxe 15x8 wheels,Chrome center caps and lug nuts
Drive train:
1999 Vortec 5.7L 150k miles and 4l60e trans
New water pump, fuel pump, fuel tank, thermostat, radiator hoses, aluminum radiator, 16” electric fan with aluminum shroud, thermostat controlled fan,
Replaced intake, oil pan, valve cover and exhaust gaskets
Reprogrammed pcm, removed security, catalytic converter, rear 02 sensor, EGR and EVAP, calibrated speedometer
Replaced cap and rotor, AC delco platinum plugs and wires,
Single 3” in/out chambered muffler, dumps out passenger fender with 4 inch rolled stainless tip, aggressive tone but not ridiculous
Interior:
Reworked dash to fit S10 cluster, tinted lexan lens, led lights in gauges
Led dome light, new chrome housing and lense, 15 second courtesy delay after doors close
New headliner, door panels, sun visors, black wrapped arm rests, chrome window cranks and door handles and rear view mirror.
Complete inside of cab was sandblaste, all rust cut out and replaced, solid welded, seam sealed, epoxy primed and painted satin black, Dyno mat style insulation in complete cab
Black carpet with ½” pad glued in, also carpeted behind and under seat
All new glass and weather stripping, door seals, tinted windows
S10 column, tilt wheel, cruise control, column shift
Vintage air mounted under dash, custom dash drop for vents, black anodized control
Bench seat from ‘88 Chevy truck with black leather upholstery
Kenwood marine radio mounted under the seat, wired control mounted in console with cup holders and cigarette lighters, abs kick panels with speakers, shallow 12” powered sub under seat with remote bass control, Electric windshield wiper conversion, new wiper arms and blades
Body:
Very solid truck to start with, replaced any rust in floor and all that affected door seals or sealing the cab. Raised rear fenders 1.5” to clear tires, clearanced front inner fenders
All new hardware reassembling the truck, everything used has nylock nuts or lock washers
Hid headlights, led front turn signals and tail lights, vintage single fog light, new 12 volt bulb
Raised wood bed floor, sealed and painted satin black, Battery mounted in old tool box in bed, 0 gage battery cable
New driver and passenger side mirrors, New door locks
Flip up license plate with hidden reese hitch, 4 way tailer plug, led license plate lights.
Original patina, not recreated, complete with actual bullet holes.
Metal stake bed built from 1x2 with flush mounted third brake/running light, easily removable if not your style
