Chevrolet C-10 1971 Description

This 1971 Chevy short bed Cheyenne is an excellent example of an older restoration of a rust-free southern truck. Originally from Alabama, it was restored years ago to a very high standard and garaged since. There are no signs of previous rust repair and using a paint gauge it's clear that little if no body filler was ever used. It's truly a "turn-key" driver ready to enjoy. The original built tag shows it was a 127" wheel base truck with a 350 motor. It's now sitting on a 115" WB frame and has a 307 motor with Holley 4 barrel carb. The drive train has plenty of power and the automatic transmission shifts smoothly. It also has a 12 bolt 355 rear end, power steering that makes it a pleasure to drive and power front disc brakes that make it feel more like a modern truck. The suspension is stock with the exception of lowered springs. So if you prefer a higher ride height that would be an easy thing to change. It's equipped with AC but it's not currently charged. It has a new red interior which is a perfect compliment to the black paint. The polished aluminum American Racing wheels give it a nice period look and are in great condition. Recent maintenance in the last year includes new ball joints, rear end bearings & seals and regular oil changes. I encourage any potential buyers to come drive and inspect the truck.
