Chevrolet Impala 1963 Description

This is a really cool 63 Impala that gets a lot of attention. The car was featured in Street Rodder Magazine. I have taken the car to several car shows and it has won a lot of awards at shows like the Portland Roadster show. The car was finished about eight years ago and has very few miles on it since. I do drive the car locally and always trailer it when we go out of our area. The car does have power steering and it is leaking at the moment but I am getting it scheduled to be fixed next week. At this time the heater is not hooked up. Since it has only been a summer time car for me I was not worried about having heat.Exterior: Flat black paint with red metal flake top and red metal flake flames going down the hood and side. Shaved door handles, trim and emblems. Has remote to open doors with a back up system in place in case remote fails. Billet Specialties soft lip 18" and 20" wheels.Interior: Red factory style seats with black piping. black carpet. Custom billet specialties steering wheel to match interior. Ididit custom steering column with tilt. Large auto meter tach. Stereo: Full custom installed stereo. Three 12" subs in a custom built fiberglass box in the trunk that is painted to match the car. Custom installed mid speakers in front kick panels and also the rear dash. Custom amp rack in trunk with a 1500 watt sub amp and two 450 watt amps for mids and tweets. The complete stereo is a Rockford-Fosgate system with a Alpine head unit. Engine & tranny: I had the Engine and Transmission professionally built and installed. 383 stroker with a TCI 700R4 automatic transmission with overdrive. B&M racing shifter. Custom headers with dual stainless exhaust. Side exit exhaust sounds amazing. Very loud car! Aluminum radiator with electric fans.Suspension & brakes: Hotchkiss performance suspension with 4 wheel disc brakes. Handles amazing for such a big car.I have owned the car for the last 10 years and it has always been stored inside while I have owned it. I have taken this car to a lot of shows and won a lot of awards. It is a real head turner. The only reason I am selling this car is because my wife really wants a first generation Camaro. I am willing to do a trade for a first generation Camaro if it is the right car.If you are a serious buyer then please get in touch with me and I would be happy to answer any questions you might have. Thanks for taking the time to look at this car.
