Chevrolet Corvair 1961 Description

Truck has sat outside for many years in dry desert climate in Eastern Washington state and last ran and licensed in 1999. Not running now. Needs clutch repair. Engine there and last run in 1999. Needs new windshield (cracked) which is available from several sources. Rest of glass good. Needs 4 tires. Seat cushion needs re-upholstering. While truck is straight and mostly solid (bed is rust-free) the lower sheet metal on both sides of bed has bondo and rust for the lowest six inches and will need new sheet metal braized in. My body guy can do it if buyer wants him to. This is a project but if someone knows and appreciates these rare Rampside pickups this is a good candidate for restoration. I am 77 and would prefer someone else to undertake it. Call with any questions.
