Chevrolet Impala 1963 Description

Sadly I'm putting my Dad's 1963 Super Sport Impala up for sale. It's been in storage for the last 11 years or so and still needs a good cleaning up but I've been going through it over the last few months and it's almost ready for cruising. Here's the list of the work I've done on it in the last 6 months:New master cylinder and rebuilt wheel cylinders the brakes feel greatNew alternator and voltage regulator as well as battery cables and a good red top Optima battery.I've also repaired and replaced the main charging wiring that runs across the radiator core.Standard tune up items; cap rotor points. Cleaned and inspected the wires and plugs. The car had a full restoration back in the early to mid 90's and is still in amazing condition. All the chrome is present and with the exception of one of the door strips in very good condition. All the interior is still in good shape with only the carpet showing some discoloration in the footwells. The car has 409 emblems installed as my Dad was planning on swapping out the small block for a 409 and 4 speed but he never got to get started on it. Currently the car has a 283 2bbl engine and a powerglide. I don't believe the engine to be original as the VIN stamping on the block doesn't match.I've taken the car on a couple small trips (less than a mile) since I don't have it registered or insured yet and mechanically everything seems to work just fine. I'm not an expert on these cars so please ask any and all questions beforehand so that there are no misunderstandings regarding what this car is. I'm happy to take any photos and gather any information needed.Currently I don't have a Title for this car so it will be sold with a GA bill of sale. Feel free to give me a call and schedule a time to look it over if you're in the area.I'll require a $500 non-refundable immediate payment through PayPal when the auction closes with the balance to be paid in cash when you pick up the car.

For those following this listing I was NOT able to get the Tennessee title transferred into my name. The original owner never re-applied for the title when he bought it so Georgia DMV was unable to allow me to title it in GA. I do however have the registration in my name which proves it isn't stolen so still just selling with a bill of sale.
