Nicely restored 1968 Factory SS 396 Camaro. Look at the many photos, they speak for themselves.

Here's some specifics:

1968 Date code correct 396/325hp with mild RV cam and original Th400 automatic trans with original “BL” 12 bolt posi rear end with 3.07 gears. This is NOT the original numbers matching engine and the original block was long gone before I ever acquired the car. I've been told the "BL" coded rear end is not positraction but this car has posi so it's probably been upgraded at some point. Dual Flowmaster exhaust has just been done.

Desirable factory “U” color code Le Mans blue, freshly painted with base coat/clear coat and the bumble bee stripe is painted and under the clear. The vinyl top has just been redone.

Original factory options include front disc brakes, power steering, deluxe interior, console with gauges and the desirable tic-toc-tach.

Drives excellent, is reliable and has had all of the suspension redone including the body bushings, ball joints, upper and lower control arm bushings, sway bar link bushings, shocks, ETC.

Many original parts are still on this car. The original dash pad is perfect, wood grain steering wheel, pillar post moldings, deluxe door panels, seats and console are all original and near perfect. Carpet and headliner have been replaced, new vintage style floor matts finish off this extremely nice looking interior.

Except for the cowl hood, all the body is GM original. Trunk, floors, quarters are all rust free.

GM 15" rally's with BFG's 235/60/15 fronts and 255/60/15's rear. There is a working AM/FM cassette in the original uncut dash and other than the original clock, everything works as it should.

I have the original owners manual, in the original pouch and a clear California title in hand and in my name.

This fine first gen is sold as is from beautiful San Diego, California. Auction may end at any time if sold locally.
