I have a 1955 Chevy 2nd series short bed big window cab truck available. I started a complete body off restoration of this truck many years ago. I disassembled everything and had it sandblasted before primer paint and reassembly. It has been a slow process and life has not lent itself to complete the project and doesn't appear to be any different anytime soon so I'd like to offer this up for someone else's enjoyment who has the time and ability to finish it. It has lived these past several years under cover. The primered spots are not due to rust. The surface was not properly prepared prior to painting and the paint began to crack some. The paint job is only as good as the preparation. Some spots were sanded lately to repaint.The truck has a 350 motor with Hooker headers and a Turbo 350 transmission and has been rewired. I have many parts that are not pictured for the completion of the restoration. There is a short shopping list to finish it out; rear bumper tail lights exhaust door handles and window cranks windshield. It has solid floors good rockers an unmolested dash solid header above the windshield inside and out solid A pillars good cab corners laser straight bedsides very nice bed front excellent tailgate with new lettering stained oak bed with stainless strips.You will not be disappointed in this truck. This is a very good start to someone finishing and having a very nice truck. All of the hard work has been done you just need to complete and have fun with this truck just in time for summer cruising. I can help arrange delivery or transportation if necessary.
