Very Cool Classic C6500 Chevy Flatbed Pick Up Truck Really hard to find one like this.Everywhere I go it turns heads and sparks conversation.Everybody loves this truck.
Was told it had be 90% restored in 1994 by a previous owner. He had it indoors at his warehouse for his business, retty much just for fun. He Recently passed away and his wife sold it to an employee. Apparently, he employees wife didn't appreciate it taking up her entire driveway and the truck appeared to be almost as big as the house they were living in. Well, nyway, he wanted it gone. I just happened to stumble accross it's on craigslist an decided to check it out. When I purchased it from the previous owner he couldn't seem to get it to stay running. I had it towed to my home and my mechanic took a look at it. In about ten minutes it was running beautifully. It was just a vacuum leak. The engine is amazing. 235 inline 6 runs super strong. The transmission is perfect as well. The interior an exterior all looks great. No tears or marks in the upholstery. A few nicks and scratches here and there on the paint (see pictures) but no dents or damage. The windows and door panels were in the back of the truck. So looks like all the extra parts are there. You will need new glass for the side windows and there is a crack in the windshield. Tires are like new. Brakes are all replaced with new wheels cylinders. Just for the hell of it,to start fresh, changed all of the ignition wires, omplete distributor, lugs, oints, ater pump, oses, heel cylinders, peedometer cable, eadlamps, nd more.
I've been taking it for a drive once a month to the vintage flea market to sell furniture...BUT I really don't have the room to keep it here.
It hurts to see it go but I just have too many vehicles nd not enough space.So now is your chance to own this really cool RARE Old Classic.Great truck for Car shows.Ramp your classic auto right up onto the flatbed and go show it off in style.
