Chevrolet Camaro 1992 Description
What I have up for sale is my 1992 Chevrolet Camaro RS 25th anniversary edition. has the 5.0 V8 with 5 speed manual transmission. CLEAR TITLECar has around 145k I believe. I bought it as a project car to take up my time but I am unfortunately unable to keep it so my loss is your gain.
Here is what I know about the car. It is a project car. Yes it starts up and drives. you could drive it around the block or short trips around tow, ut I would not trust it to any long trips.
1. Gauge cluster needs replaced. tachometer does not work. a couple other gauges don't work. I thought I could replace individual gauges but it is electronic so the whole cluster needs replaced. 2. I bought the car off of a guy that did not know what he was doing with the car and put it a rigged security system (extra VATS key under the dash). I have fixed that by taking it out and putting in a resistor pack.3. It does start and drive but needs a starter solenoid. sometimes it will fire on first hit of key, ther times it will take a few turns of the key to start it, ut it always starts. you can hear solenoid clicking. 4. previous owner hot wired the cooling fan ( I do not know why) so when the key is on, he fan is on. my guess was because he didn't want to replace the cooling fan switch (I have one to install)5. car will need U joints ( its a 23 year old car with closer to 200k)6. with cluster not working, he odometer does not work so the title has "odometer discrepancy"
Its a project car. It has some dents and dings and some minor rust on parts of the car. would make a great father/son project or a driving project.
If you have any other questions, eel free to contact me andI will get back to you asap. I do not ship car, o it will be up to the buyer to pick up thecar. I require a 500 dollar deposit upon winning the auction to prove your interest in the car and then the rest paid in cash when we meet up. been burnt by too many people on here so that is why I require a deposit. after winning bidder pays deposit, will give you my phone number and address so we can set up the final transaction for the car. I will not be lowballed, will not take offers of 500. I have this car listed elsewhere so I will end auction if car is sold outside of ebay. good luck bidding and don't hesitate to contact me with questions.
