Chevrolet Camaro 1973 Description

Quickly gaining traction as first-rate collectables, he early second-generation Camaros are definitely cool. This '73 Chevrolet Camaro coupe sports a few noteworthy upgrades that make it an awesome cruiser that can still put a hurt on more modern hardware.Sophisticated is one way to describe this '73, ith its pewter paint job and sleek overall look. During the build, t also got a chin spoiler, 3-piece ducktail spoiler out back, nd a blacked-out grille that works well with the overall vibe. The workmanship is quite good, nd with a metallic color like this, ou can't afford to cut corners. Details are crisp, uch as the crease that stretches from front to back, nd the gaps are accurate. Plenty of metallic makes it glitter in the sun, nd it will definitely stand out from all the red and black Camaros at the next cruise-in. We're relieved to see that they didn't feel the need to add a cowl-induction hood, hich makes the second-gen Camaro look chunky, nd we're very fond of the black rocker panels, hich make it look even longer and lower than it already its. The original stainless trim has been polished, he chrome bumpers were polished up, nd they even kept all the factory-issued badges, o it has a very authentic look. The sumptuous black and bucket seat interior is every bit as comfortable as it looks. With newer seat covers, lean red carpets, nd beautifully preserved door panels, t looks fresh and tidy with none of the usual trouble spots these cars often carry. The wrap-around instrument panel is full of gauges, ncluding the original speedometer and factory tachometer, lthough the faux wood trim, hile correct, eems out of place in a performance car with this one's capabilities. Kenwood supplied the AM/FM/CD stereo head unit, hich feeds a variety of speakers throughout the interior, ffering a big improvement in audio performance compared to the original AM unit. There's also a center console, old factory A/C with an R134a refrigerant upgrade, nd aftermarket floor mats to protect those red carpets. The trunk offers what might just be the original trunk mat and a full-sized spare tire with jack assembly.Under the hood you'll find a strong-running 350 cubic inch small block that has been rebuilt to stock specs and shows quite well. The dominant feature is the Chevy Orange paint, hich is a traditional look, nd it's accentuated by a stock air cleaner with reproduction decal on top. Stock valve covers and exhaust manifolds are unusual for a Camaro of this vintage, ostly because they've all been modified at some point or another, ut this one pretty much sticks to the factory recipe. Underneath, he floors are solid and there's a brand new dual exhaust system with transverse rear muffler, ust like the original. A TH350 3-speed automatic transmission powers a 10-bolt rear end, hich has 3.42 gears inside that offer a great compromise between acceleration and cruising comfort. The rest is pretty stock, lthough those big Boss Motorsports wheels make a statement with fat 245/45/17 performance radials.Make no mistake, hese second-gen Camaros are only going up from here. This one offers a clean, odern look, lenty of performance, nd a few upgrades that make it a pleasure to drive. Call today!
