Chevrolet Camaro 1973 Description
1973 Camaro original & unmolested & complete. Factory AC. Starts with first turn of key & drives. Car has sat for a long time, ay not be road worthy? Minimal rust, xcept trunk floor. Will need trunk repair - OR - replacement due to leaky trunk gasket. I just restored a 73 camaro and wouldhave loved to had this one to begin with. Unfortunately I didn't have the car at the time. This is an excellent solid project car. NOTE: Someone asked me about the condition of the floor, rames, tc.. so I added pics. floor pans & frame are Good condition (see pics). It is winter in MT now and the car started right up. However I did notice the tranny was sluggish and had to warm up before it wanted to go. Car didn't have this problem in summer months. Just a heads up for the future owner. I do have a freshly rebuilt turbo 350 with all the goodies for high torque engine. The tranny has 500 miles on it & I pulled it out b/c I wanted a 700R with 4th gear for high speed highway driving. The turbo 350 came out of my brown 1973 camaro (not the one I'm selling). So it should fit perfectly into this grey 73 camaro listed on ebay. I would sell the tranny for %50 of what I paid for the professional rebuild. I'll have to dig out receipt to find out that exact dollar amount. So if the person who buys this grey camaro wants the tranny too - let me know when you pick it up. I think this project is priced very fairly - especially looking at what others want for their cars without engines, o tranny, utted, tc.. This will truly make the project process easier for someone because they have a great start car. After restoring cars for 15 - 20 years myself. I always try to select a quality car to start with.
