1983 GMC CaballeroSelling one of the best in my collection...this 1983 El Camino/Caballero is truly a survivor vehicle that has had very good care and maintenance. It was purchased new in 1983 and owned by the original purchaser until May of 2012. It was owned for a short time by the second owner before I purchased it. The original owner ordered it with every option available at the time. The original 305 V8 was upgraded to a GM Goodwrench 350 Crate Motor. The TH350 auto transmission got a full rebuild when the 350 was installed. It was completely repainted with near-stock charcoal gray metallic. I have put new shocks including rear air-shocks brakes wheels tires and a new dual exhaust system. This rides like a dream. Lots or power very smooth ride quiet comfortable and really pleasant to drive. Power everything air conditioning. The interior is almost perfect. There are a couple of spots at the driver’s seat. Everything else is beautiful.All of the trim is complete and original. It shines like new but it is really 32 years old. I inspected the undercarriage when the exhaust system was installed and there was not a speck of rust. There is no visable rust anywhere on the car. It is clean solid and tight. I would rate this as a solid 4.5 out of 5. Its not show quality but it is the next best thing. Ask questions before you bid.
