Chevrolet Nova 1966 Description
Most All Of Our Auctions End Early Call Us For A Great Price 865 988 8088Up for sale we have a 1966 Chevy II Nova SS. In ’66 they gave the nova a face lift with an all new look. It was still called a Chevy II. The SS was only offered in the sport coupe. They did not put the Nova name on them until ’67. The one we have for you is a true Super Sport and is new from bumper to bumper with less than 200 miles since the build. In the paragraphs to follow we will give a brief description of the exterior interior and heartbeat of the Chevy but first we would like to tell you a little about us.
Smoky Mountain Traders is a classic car dealer in east Tennessee. We are family owned operated and own our entire inventory no consignments and only deal in muscle cars and vintage auto. You can count on us to have 50 to 60 cars at all times. We don’t have a big show room that our customers would otherwise pay for. So that’s how we can sell for less than other dealers. To contact us for more information pictures or any questions call our office at (865)988-8088 or visit our SmokyMountainTraders website.
We will start off with the exterior of the Chevy II. When you look down the sides its straight as an arrow with good fit of the panels. It’s easy to see that this Nova was pulled apart when the resto was done. Everything is covered in the Marina Blue Paint that looks very good with a deep rich shine. They did a good job on the door jams and trunk. It has new seals around the windshield and rear glass. They also put new window felt around the side glass. The stainless looks good and some look to be new. When you look at the bumpers you can see that there were also changed. It has new weather stripping around the doors and trunk to ensure good fit. The final exterior touch is the set of 18” and 20” wheels and tires.
Next we will take a look at the interior of the ’66. Everything on the inside is very neat and clean. It’s all done in blue with bucket seats and console. As with the outside it’s all new inside. It retains the factory AM radio and has the Rosewood SS Steering Wheel.
Finally we will take a look at the heartbeat of the Chevy. Under the hood it’s powered by a fresh 350 V8 that’s mated to a Muncie 4 Speed and a 10 Bolt Rear End. Under the hood it looks stock with only an Aluminum Radiator and Chrome Breather being added. It retains the stock manifolds with dual exhaust that are flows. The brakes were upgraded to 4 Wheel Disc with Drilled and Slotted Rotors that are Power. Under the bottom of this Nova it’s all new with new pans. Also it has a new fuel tank and lines as well as all new brake lines.
As we said this is an all new build with less than 200 miles on it. It is a true Super Sport.
