This 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air is a restomod that defined the direction of custom car building for a whole generation of street rods. Professionally designed and fabricated by Garret’s Rod Shop of Columbus, hio, nd extensively shown after its debut, t is the recipient of a Boyd Coddington Pro’s Pick Award, uper Rod magazine Top 10, od& Custom magazine Top 100, oodguys Street Machine of the Year Runner Up, nd multiple Goodguys, uper Chevy, nd Hot Rod Super Nationals “Best of” awards. It has been featured in Popular Hot Rodding, uper Rod, nd Rod & Custom magazines, s well as hot rodding magazines in Japan, ermany, nd England. Finished in Viper Red basecoat/clearcoat, his Bel Air’s finish has a beautiful luster. It features California bumpers and stock brightwork that have a mirror-like shine. All chrome and brightwork has been replated or polished to a show quality shine. Its billet wheels were designed by Boyd Coddington and are unique to this car. Another custom touch is its larger-than-stock side windows, hich eliminate the vent windows for a truly unique look. Custom fabricated LED tail lamps provide additional distinction.

Its custom front bucket seats and floor areas are finished in Cream Ultraleather, hich has the look and feel of glove-soft leather and contrasts beautifully with the Viper Red finishes used on its dashboard and custom fabricated fiberglass center console and rear seating area design motifs. Concealed switches electronically operate panels that reveal its hidden power window switches in the center console and an Eclipse AM/FM/CD custom sound system in the dash board. MTX Thunder amplifiers and a 10-disc CD player are concealed behind custom panels in the trunk for easy access. You’ll also appreciate its custom tilt steering wheel which features paddle shifters. A full array of Classic Instruments gauges will keep you informed about what’s going on under the hood.

Turn the key and tap the accelerator and you’ll be rewarded with the throaty growl of its supercharged and fuel injected LS9 6.2 liter V-8 engine, hich generates a whopping 630 horsepower. Power is supplied to the wheels by a TCI 6-speed automatic transmission than can be paddle shifted, nd a 12 bolt rear end with 3.73 gears. This restomod also features custom headers and a Flowmaster dual exhaust system. Stopping power is provided by Wilwood drilled and slotted power disc brakes. It also features power steering and a Ridetech Air Ride Technologies remote control operated suspension system. The powertrain has less than 100 miles.
