Chevrolet Bel Air/150/210 1955 Description
Not a trailer queen but a very nice driver and a car that is a lot of fun! 383 Stroker engine is about 5 years old. Aluminum heads and radiator, attery in trunk, ar is a 4 speed car with a T-10 Tranny. All new wiring about 3 years ago. Headers, o power steering, o power brakes, riginal drum brakes all around. Front end rebuilt about 3 years ago. 373 posi. No rust, retty original car. Adult owned but not babied. Car is pretty fast and reliable. I drive the car 100 miles each way to a car show each year without batting an eye.....although an overdrive gear would be nice for those times! Pretty much everything is in working order. Those are the pros, he cons: No wiper motor, adio does not work, o antenna, ood paneling for the rear deck lid, rd gear is finicky on occasion. Original rear shock mount locations are just holes in the trunk now, ut new mounts have been set up. Car does leak and drip oil a bit but not enough for me to be overly concerned. It has an aluminum radiator and it has a slow leak as well. Gas tank should be replaced, ust starting to develop on the inside of the tank. Paint blemishes, hips here and there. I also believe at some point the car may have been hit in the rear end as you can see behind the bumper it does have bondo....that coupled with the fact that something happened to knock out the rear shock mounts leads me to believe something happened although the car tracks straight down the road and seems fine. Just trying to give you an honest assessment of the car. The car runs and drives strong and is in what I'd consider very good over-all condition especially given the age. Many original parts/pieces/trim still on the car. Someone can take it from here and improve on it or just drive her as is and have fun and turn heads.
