Chevrolet Bel Air/150/210 1956 Description
My Mother is a recent cancer survivor and she has always wanted my dad to build her an older 66 Chevy C-10 pickup. We are about half way through that build but we need to sell this to help pay for it. I already sold my Jeep to help. So, nfortunately one of the rides has to go. This 1956 Belair has been completely rebuilt, retty much a nut and bolt resto. The car was bought by my father as a young Military Airmen in 1976 from the original owner in San Antonio, exas. That owner bought the car is San Antonio, exas as well. It has never left.
It's been in dry storage it's entire life until I completely rebuilt it for him in 2007 and it's been garage kept since then. The car overall is in damn nice shape. Motor and trans have around 2000 miles on them. The list of parts I bought and installed is way too extensive but it is well over the asking price.
The bottom of the car is VERY clean. There was some light undercoating done at my fathers request to stave off any corrosion but you are welcomed to inspect it. NOTHING is being hidden under the car. It's beautiful.
I will say the only thing not rebuilt or new is the original steering wheel and the original grille.
The paint was done by professionally and it's not show quality but it looks amazing and shines nicely. There are a few paint chips here and there but NO body damage. This car is driven to shows and cruises on Sunny weekends.
Can you believe all of these body panels are original to the car? This truly is a survivor that was refurbished a few years back. Yes these are the ORIGINAL fenders, oors etc that came on this car when new.
NO RUST WHATSOEVER. VERY VERY light skim coats of filler were used on this car when painted. My father and I were meticulous about this. All dings were dollied out and this was not cheap.

The underhood wiring still needs a little attention like hiding it etc but I am slowly doing that. The motor has used high Zinc oil for break-in and the first 750 miles then oil with lighter Zinc content until 1500 miles and no runs Mobile 1 Synthetic 10w30. I also use only 91-93 octane gas.
It has no A/C, o power steering. Those are relative inexpensive things you can add or not. If those items are added, he price will go up quite a bit. These were the only 2 things this car needs in my opinion but my father doesn't care about that stuff and just loves to drive it as is.
Much much more.
The car is dead nuts reliable and I wouldn't hesitate to drive it across country. It IS a "USED" car so it obviously has no warranty expressed or implied and there is no returns (Who the hell would do that?) I can help with transport coordination but you're paying for it. The car is located in Austin, exas and will need to be picked up there or immediate surrounding area.
Bank transfer or cash in hand is the only way to do business. Bank transfers will need to be verified before the title and keys are handed over.
The title is a clear Texas title. No liens or other silly business.
It absolutely pains the family to sell it but we need to at this point.
