1970 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible in Donnybrooke Green with a Black top and Black Vinyl Interior. Believed to be a real 58,919 mile Corvette. This Stingray boasts a numbers matching L46 350/350HP V8 Engine with Power Steering and Power Brakes. The engine runs very well and does show any major leaks. The numbers on the block do match the VIN and the block code of CTH shows 350/350HP, t (Pictured below). The motor just needs to be cleaned up and the correct value covers put on to make it more presentable but nothing mechanical that we know of.
The paint and body work was done about 30 years ago. The paint is in good driver condition and the body and paint do show some stress cracks and a few scratches, ostly on the nose of the car which is the most common. The paint still holds a nice sheen and would be great for a driver car but paint would be needed to make this a show car.The interior looks to be original. The seats are the correct Black Vinyl and are in very good condition. All the gauges seem to work in the car as well as the indicator lights in the center console. The door panels, ash, enter console and carpet are also in very good condition like the rest of the interior.
The underside and frame just seem to have surface rust but no signs of rot that we can see. The frame appears to be very straight and undamaged.
The headlights and windshield wiper door works perfectly showing the vacuum system is operational.
Overall, he car runs and drives great. The motor seems very strong and the transmission shifts out great. This low mileage, 50HP Convertible would make a great driver or is an excellent candidate for a easy restoration.
