Chevrolet C-10 1968 Description

This 1968 Chevrolet C10 pickup turns heads! It is a finished solid driving truck. It was finished two years ago in our shop here in Dade City, L. This truck both looks good and is reliable. We have made the four hour drive to Daytona's Turkey Run show multiple times in it and put in just over 9k of trouble free driving in it. This truly is a classic truck built to be driven.
The truck was featured on an episode of Velicity Channels Truck U in 2013 and received some of its updates for the show.
Features include:
Full Painless brand wiring harness with courtesy door light and under dash light kit. No messy wiring secrets here! All wire including gauge wiring is new and ran correctly.
350 Small Block with Kwick Fuel carb, SD 6AL ignition and Blaster and very street friendly cam with a nice lope. Long tube ceramic coated headers feed side exit exhaust with Flowmasters.
Vintage Air a/c with a Sanden compressor. The air will freeze you out and the heat is hot. This system functions great and includes defrost.
High end Viar Air Ride kit with independent 4 wheel control (front, ack, ide to side and pancake), iar manifolded valve set up, ominator true 10" travel bags, ual needle wheel gauges and AVS seven switch control. Even bagged this truck drives straight and rides very smoothly. So much travel I have people regularly ask if it is 4wd.
700R4 auto overdrive tranny with 2800 stall
CPP tubular upper and lower control arms. These control arms look great and keep the camber/caster nice when the bags are deflated.
CPP tilt column Grant billet steering wheel.
Classic Instruments gauge cluster and new bezel.
All glass is new with the exception of the rear window which shows good but does have a few scratches.
The paint and body of the truck was done roughly 15-20 years ago and shows well for a driver, he paint is thick and bright but is showing its age with rust around the drip rail and a few bubbles at the lower front corner of the drivers door and tailgate. Our plan was to leave it since it isn't very noticeable with the bright color of the truck and it fits the patina/shop truck vibe good.
The interior is very well finished with matching houndstooth seat cover, beautiful gauge set, ew carpet, M/FM CD with Aux input, ilt wheel and more. It has the nicer C10 Custom door panels as well.
We do quite a few very nice airbag jobs and this one is one of our best. All airbag components are located in the vintage box in the bed. It is a two pump large valve system that airs up fast. The AVS controls offer seven way control for each wheel independent, oth fronts, oth rear and all four.
The rear lights are Elcamino style and front turn signals are led halo style in the headlights.
