Chevrolet C-10 1969 Description

I am selling my 1969 Chevrolet CST pickup because I never use it and it is getting in the way in mywarehouse. I have had this truck for the better part of 4 years and have driven it less than 5 times total. It spends its time waiting to be used in a climatecontrolledwarehouse. I (like many others) had great plans for this truck! However, aving waaaaay to many other projects put this truck down the list of - Not a chance in He** of ever getting done! I did install the new duct work behind the dash and got all of the AC components to get the Air Conditioning working, ot everything installed and then the truck was parked. That was 3 years ago! It has just been shuffled around the warehouse since. So, ets get to the specifics!
Body,Front fenders = Great ConditionFender wells = perfect! And painted with clear coat on them. Very nice!Hood = Great ConditionGrill = Has some dings and small dents 7.5/10Doors = Both in great shape, ut have filler around the inside rear corners! You and I both know that there was some rust there then! Both open and close great, ood hinges and latches.Cab = Seems to be in good shape. Rockers were replaced at some point. It is a real A/C cab.Cab Trim = Has the headliner and chrome trim. Both in excellent condition.Door Panels = Great Shape. Both in blackDash = Dash pad is original and has no cracks in it! Vents are in good shape, ith new hoses attached (boy was that fun!)Steering Wheel = Yep! It's the original and it's crap! Horn works though! Power Steering works awesome as well.Radio = Inoperable! It is an original. But, s not hooked up.Gauges = All gauges work great! Except for (yep, ou guessed it!) the tach! Was next on the list to do.Seat = Was in great shape until one of my guys moved it with a pen in his pocket. It needs a new seat cover.Heater/AC controls = Work as they should! New cables installed. Fan switch works as they do. Never could figure that damned thing out. Good on pos 1,2,3 and high turns off! Same thing in my buddies truck.Glass = All glass is in great shape with no cracks, hips, delamination or fading. Windshield looks new.Mirrors = Great shape, lass is good. Yep! There the great big ones, know! No need to tell me about it! I wish they were the nice small ones as well.Box = The box is the long fleetside box and is in awesome shape with NO RUST. Sides are very straight and trim is in very nice shape (NO! I Didn't say PERFECT!) 8.5/10 as well. It does have the steel floor and NOT the wood. Floor is in great shape and someone (I DIDN"T DO IT!!!) put some of that crappy bedlinner sh#% on it. Tailgate = All seems are rust free and all looks good! But, here was some filler on one side that has chipped off over the years. Trim looks great and is correct.Bumpers = They are both in great shape! Rear needs to be polished to be perfect. Front has a small ding by one of the bolts and could use a polish to be close to new. 7/10Engine = I do NOT believe it is the original 350! However, t was either rebuilt or a new crate engine with very few miles on it before I bought the truck. I suspect the crate engine because it is painted black! Not orange. It is one of the smoothest running 350's I have ever had though. It has an Edelbrock carb that works great as well. Oil pressure and water temp run in correct specs according to the stock gauges.Transmission = Rebuilt 350 Turbo. Good fluid color and shifts great! Better than my new Chevy! Weird!Rear Axle = Non posi, lug with drum brakes.Front suspension = 6 lug with the original POWER drum brakes as well (You were supposed to be impressed there). Work as well as drum brakes can, rabby, hey pull and I was going to install disks.
Overall, his truck as a whole is in great shape and runs and drives as good as they ever did with original equipment. Would I drive it across the country? Hell yes! Just not at 85 - 90mph! From every angle this truck looks great! If you are looking for a truck to turn into some custom show stopper, ou might want to look at something that you have to replace all the sheet metal and start from scratch with. This truck really doesn't need to be restored as it looks better in person than in the pictures (that I canGuarantee!) and it drives great. When I spotted this truck I was shocked that the paint, rim and interior still looked this good, ou'll besurprisedas well.
As always, have to state that if you want to come and see the truck, ou can! If you think you are going to hop in and go for a joy ride - Buddy, our out of your tree! If you are serious contact me. I will not give this truck away! So, ll you guys that think these nice old trucks really do fall off trees and feel the need to lowball me! I will tell you in advance to PISS OFF! I'm a real guy that will talk to real buyers. If you have less than 5 transactions on ebay you better get a hold of me before bidding or your bid will be cancelled. Oh, am not inclinned to ship this truck anywhere! The buyer is responsible for picking up the truck within a reasonable time frame.
