For sale at Gateway Classic Cars in our St. Louis showroom is a 1948 Chevrolet Coupe. The cool little street rod is painted Vanilla with a matching Vanilla leather interior accented with red insets. The wheels have also been painted red to give it a little pop. Adding to the coolness of this Vanilla Coupe is an aftermarket Air Conditioning system. The build has just over 500 miles, is only a few years old and still looks amazing. The engine is a GM 350 that runs very smooth and is easy to start. The transmission is a Turbo 350 3-speed automatic transmission that transmits the power back to a Camaro 10 bolt rear end. The front suspension has been upgraded to a Mustang II design that includes power rack and pinion steering along with power front disc brakes. Inside the cool street rod is a refreshing Vanilla colored leather interior accented with red inserts in the door panels, headliner and seats. VDO gauges keep you informed of all the engine's vitals. There's also an AM/FM radio with a CD player to play your favorite tunes. Of course the dual exhaust with Flowmaster mufflers make a good sound.
