Chevrolet Camaro 1967 Description
1967 Camaro 396 SS
True 396 SS car.
Numbers match on car with the exception of the engine which had been replaced by the previous owner with a 350 small block V8. I did not perform a number search on the 350 V8 engine that is in the car now, owever, believe it to be manufactured around 1974.
VIN #124377N201532

Electric Fuel Pump

Black vinyl top (like new)
Shaker Hood
After market stereo, peakers not hooked up.
Two (New) 6x9 speakers in rear window deck with covers, overs need fastened down.
Trunk looks new (NO rust)
No Bondo filler anywhere on car
Doors are solid. I replaced both door pins when I got the car.
Headliner has hole above passenger side.
Tilt steering wheel does not tilt-needs repaired. I have new tilt arm/lever, ut problem is inside column tilt/locking area. This does NOT affect driving the car, ou just cannot adjust the up & down location of the steering wheel. Horn missing on car (never reinstalled). The transmission is a 350 Turbo automatic with a Hurst shifter on the floor.
Needs AC compressor, amp; AC engine mounting brackets. When engine (396 big block ) was changed, he AC unit was never reinstalled. Factory AC dash controls are still in place on dash.
Front bench seat needs recovered.
Back seats look great.
There is one partial (a side strap) seat belt on the driver’s side. There are no other seat belts in the car.
Both back seat dome lights work and are in great shape.
Ashtrays located on each side arm rest in the back seat. Both are in great shape.
Glove box has original sticker inside door.
Carpet is somewhat faded on front passenger side.
Metal on back of front seats need repainted.
Electric windows: Drivers side works, he other three windows work sometimes. Windows are wired direct. I do have a new four way driver’s side window switch that will go with the car.
Gravel guard on transmission needs installed, have a new one that goes with car.
I have replaced the front rotors, heel bearings, rake pads, oth sides four piston brake calipers, ront rubber & steel brake lines, aster cylinder, attery, amp; alternator. I have some of the old parts that go with car.
I have a full copy of 1967 Camaros factory build sheets 418 pages of blueprints, art numbers etc. and will be included with this sale.
The paint color is a Maroon with gray stripes on hood and trunk then clear coated. Bad thing is that whoever painted the car did not take the time to sand down and buff out the clear coat to get rid of the orange peel caused from spraying the paint on too thick or spraying on too slow. I did a quick sand / buff on the driver’s side rear quarter panel, nd it turned out like glass.
The rear spoiler does have a small hairline crack top center started, amp; below that in the curve area has a spot. Rear quarter panel almost under bumper is a small spot covered with touchup paint (see pictures).
I have owned This Camaro for 3 years and have driven it about half a dozen times a year (5-10 miles).
I use High Octane fuel with added lead/Octane Boost, ever unleaded.
I have bought plates every year with the intentions of driving it more, ut never seem to have the time.
This Camaro has four ( #1,2,4,& 5) of the five factory options offered in “67”
