Chevrolet Camaro 1967 Description
1967 Chevy Camaro SS/RS 396 325HP 4 speed console deluxe interiorWhen was the last time a real rare 67 big block Camaro project came available?Yes its real, heck the codes on the firewall. Yes I know it has RS badges where the SS badges should be.I bought this as a project car for me, his is my dream car but I have hurt my back and can not complete the project. I am the third owner of this rare car, he previous 2 owners lived in New Mexico and that is where I bought the car out of and it was brought to me in TN by the previous owner. It has no rust, ever has had any rust. The body is in mint condition. The previous owner tore the car apart and put it on a rotisserie and detailed the whole bottom of the car. Unfortunately it is painted an incorrect color and the paint is not 100% done. The original color is Tahoe turquoise with Turquoise deluxeinterior. The 396 block is correct for the car but I am not able to verify if it is numbers matching or not as the machine shop that worked the block removed thecodes on front pad. The block number on the backmatches the latebuild date of the car (june 67). I have the 67 dated heads and the dimple rods and crank. The Muncie that is in the car is a correct M20 but its 65 dated with a correct Muncie shifter. The 12 bolt is original to the car and still has the square traction bar and mono leafs. There are a ton of parts with this car and a bunch of extra trim. Lots of new parts. The Body: Its nearly perfect, ery straight. Painted 2011 Ford Blue. New rear bumper, ll new chrome trim(have original trim too) Incorrect cowl hood but looks good on the car, mall ding in lower valance. Never had rust, riginal sheet metalThe Interior: 90% new, eeds package tray installed and a headliner...few misc things needpainted and installedDrivetrain: motor was machined 30 over, he heads were done, he rods were resized, eeds reassembled...not all accessories are here. The trans is fresh but incorrect for the car, ts a 65 dated Muncie M20 with a Muncie shifter bellhousing and clutch and all is here...needs a driveshaft....original 12 bolt with the mono leafs and traction bar is all new and originalThere are some things that I know it needs. A front bumper, icer set of wheels(I have a set of rallys with new coopers that I was going to put on it) Radiator...it needs a radiator, eeds a driveshaft, he front seat that's not in the car needs a new pan and then the cover will be able to be put on. some of the engine accessories are not here. This car is 75% done if you want to keep it the wrong color or strip it like I had planned on and do it right. I have a 1969 date coded 512 block390HP 427 that I was going to put in the car and a 70 dated m21 Muncie that was going in also and those will be available to the winning bidder at an additional cost of 5000. I planned to just put up the original motor.***Please call 615-364-4890 if you have questions Matt*** I do have the right to remove the listing as it is for sale locally also so bid to win!
