THIS CAR IS LISTED FOR SALE IN "AS IS" CONDITION. IT HAS BEEN SITTING FOR QUITE SOME TIME. IT IS IN NEED OF TOTAL RESTORATION. BASICALLY, T IS COMPLETE. PARTS NOT PICTURED, UCH AS THE FRONT BUMPER, NNER FENDERS ETC..... ARE ALSO INCLUDED. CONVERTIBLE TOP BOWS ARE NOT BENT OR BROKEN. AS YOU CAN SEE, HE TRUNK PANS ARE GONE AND THE FLOOR PANS ARE RUSTED. YOU CAN SIT IN THE SEAT TO STEER AND THE BRAKES STILL WORK. THE FRAME IS IN GOOD CONDITION WITH NO ROTTING. I BELIEVE THE CAR WAS ORIGINALLY A 283 V8. THE ENGINE IN IT NOW IS NOT ORIGINAL IT IS A YU SUFFIX BLOCK AS SHOWN IN PHOTO. THE INTAKE IS A GM #3844457. The sequentialstartingnumber for the 1964 Chevelle was 100001 at all Chevelle assembly plants. Each assembly plant sequenced Chevelles of all series/models without regard to specific series/models. For example, f a series 45645 station wagon followed a 45667 Malibu convertible, he sequence number would be one unit higher for the wagon. It's also entirely possible to have the same sequence number from all five 1964 U.S. assembly plants with the only difference between the VINs being the plant code.
