Chevrolet Bel Air/150/210 1956 Description

Up for auction is the 1956 Chevy Convertible owned by my dad... He bought it in 1973, rove it for a short period of time and then decided to begin the restoration process by removing the paint. Unfortunately, s too many of us know, uite often these projects go unfinished, s did his. It sat garaged for the last 40 years in the dry west Texas climate. Car hasn't been started for 39+ years but it did run back then. My dad believed the rear seal on the transmission popped out at some point in time as he found fluid on the garage floor. As far as I know this is a numbers matching car but will leave that up to the buyer to verify.
I thought the transmission was 3 speed shift on the column, ut I don't see a clutch so I'm not sure if this it has the 3 speed or the 2 speed powerglide. Also I'm not sure if the mileage is correct or not...
I believe we have all the parts and tried to take pictures of the pieces, ut I have not been able to get a good inventory of everything. Seats, onvertible top frame, ll windows, ash bezels, nbsp;original radio and speaker, tc are all present. Motor (265cu V8) and Transmission are still in the car. All 4 tires have a 1973 date code but they hold air briefly. I will do what I can to answer questions about the car.
Car was originally Turquoise and White but was painted red by the previous owner, he front seat was also reupholstered red.
The floor boards will need to be replaced and I noticed a bit of rust inside the trunk near the spare tire wheel well. The car was hit in the rear, ou can see some slight damage just below the trunk lid as well as on the rear bumper. There is a bit of surface rust on the outside of the car, nd clearly, ar has been disassembled ;)
Buyer to provide a non-refundable 500 dollar deposit with 48 hours of the auction close, lso buyer to arrange and provide shipment method. Good Luck and Happy Bidding!
