Chevrolet Camaro 1967 Description
Selling my 1967 Chevrolet Camaro SS 350. I've owned it for almost 10 years, bought this car when my oldest child was 3 months old, uilt it up so we could enjoy it as a family, nd have had many wonderful years of cars shows and cruises. My wife says I have too many toys, his doesn't get driven as much and she wants to start saving for a pool so now it's time to let it go. . .This car left the factory as a simple white with red interior inline 6 cylinder model. It has been completely rebuilt to the Lemans Blue with Black "Bumblebee" stripe car that you see today. I found the car in Manteca, A in October of 2006, nd purchased it from the owner that completed the body and paint himself. I felt the car had the right "bones" with the small block 350, 2 bolt posi and 4-speed. And in blue and black with the front and rear spoilers and original steel, owl induction hood, his car was real head turner. I also like the restomod look with the original interior/ exterior trim and moldings all intact, ut with the right stance and powertrain. Number matching parts/ drivetrain was of no interest to me since I knew I wanted a car I could enjoy and not worry so much about preserving. Since purchasing it, ver the first couple of years I personally restored or replaced just about every nut and bolt in the car. I tuned the suspension, rakes, heels and tires, ngine, xhaust and interior to what you see today. I can't begin to add up the parts or time I've put into it, urning wrenches until the dark of night on manyoccasions. It's been to many local shows, ot August Nights and several cruises, nd I've put about 5,000 miles on the car over the last decade enjoying all the looks it gets. I am a meticulous owner and the car is indicative of my nature - down to the smallest details.

The car is extremely reliable and fast. Probably about 400hp. I have driven just about every significant sports and muscle car over the years. I have personally owned multiple Corvettes, Dodge Viper, xotics, nd other hot rods and this car is among the best driver and probably the best sounding car I've owned. It has a lope from the aggressive cam and two chamber Flowmasters that is just unreal.

Certainly not perfect, ut a car you can enjoy, how off and turn LOTS of heads with. And if you wanted to take it to the next level as a full pro touring car, t's a great platform to do so. I will be very sad to see it go.
The car is very solid, oth floor plans are perfect and the inner fenders and trunk are superb. There are only (3) small issues with the paint which I tried to capture in the photos.
- There is a little dimple (looks like a door ding about the size of a dime) on the roof – very hard to see. This was there when I bought the car.
- There is a little indent in the paint on the C pillar on the driver’s side about ¼ the size of my fingernail. Probably a chip that wasn’t fixed when it was painted. This was also there when I bought the car.
- There is a little crack in the paint about ½” long on each side of the rear window (lower corner). This is probably from the flexing of the car over time. It is on both sides, nd showed up in the first year of ownership but hasn’t gotten worse since then.
The glass in the car is not perfect. The windshield is new, ut the side glass and rear glass have minor scratches. It’s impossible to catch this in the photos.
Mechanically everything works on the car with the exception of (3) items:
- There are no backup lights. I have a Hurst backup light switch which I will include with the sale. It is still new in the package, ut it is not installed. I just never got around to installing it and never cared that the reverse lights weren’t functional.
- I just recently got the speedometer working after many years of it being non-functional. The little plastic speedo driven gear was worn and I replaced it when I replaced the clutch. The speedo works great under acceleration, ut upon deceleration it drops belowthe actual speed. I believe this is due to the routing of the speedometer cable, hich may be putting resistance on it. Since the speedometer has been replaced the mileage is unknown and has not bee tracking since recently. I estimate I've put 5,000 miles on the car since owning it.
- I dohear a bit if a whine in the rear end at lower speeds while cornering. I believe the friction modifier (additive) in the fluid which quiets down the posi-traction is starting to break down. The fluid should be replaced and for good measure the rear axle bearings should probably be replaced as well.
Other than that everything works in the car, ll the lights (interior and exterior), ll the stereo equipment, ll the electrical equipment, own to the last wire and bulb. The car runs very cool, ue to the aluminum radiator/ electric fan and 180 degree t-stat. The timing seems to be great even on cold mornings. I typically unplug the battery through the Winter, ut have left it on this Winter and the battery is holding a charge nicely.
Asking $35,000 or best offer. Have already turned down multiple offers of $30k. Not interested in trades, nd no scammers or low ballers. I want to see this car go to a good home. I have the clean title in hand and the car is ready to go with brand new clutch installed. Feel free to call me with any questions you may have. 916-626-1303.
