Chevrolet Corvette 1979 Description
Bought this in 2005 or so. I bought it pretty much as you see it. It has sat in my pole barn for 10 years and I have never found the time to work on it. It is missing the hood, -tops and some of the headlight hardware. I have the seats, oor panels, ir cleaner, otor accessories, tereo bezel, heel caps all in the house here. This one came with the Pace Car Spoiler front/rear. It came stock with 255 BF Goodrich rubber all around. Now it has 275's in the rear. The 255 fronts are new, he rears are probably 75% tread. The interior is in need of work. It is complete, owever it has the lovely odor of mice. Has the expected sun and age damage. The motor ran when I put it up, t hasnt run since. It is currently leaking some tranny fluid and diff fluid. Probably old seals. Please see all the pictures. It was such a cool car. Had a custom exhaust when I bought it. Not true dual, ut no mufflers. Just resonators on back. The right front fender issue I was told would only need the lower part of the fiberglass panel. The top was OK. Probably something you should check out for yourself. Cool car. I want to keep it but am trying to downsize. Car is white, nterior black. Has aluminum 15x8 pace car wheels. Car has about 80 grand on the odometer. Has the 140 mph speedo. Has air, ower windows, ruise. Has the steering wheel that telescopes. 3 compartments in the back. I have the original spare and jack I believe.ALSO, have a matching go Kart from the same era. It ran me 700 bucks but I had to have it at the time as it matched the car. The go-cart is fine. Only problem is my huge butt cracked the seat so you will probably want to replace that. It does not stay on as it is now. Go kart starts, uns, teers, nd stops well. The body is fiberglass, believe these were made in 1978. It has the Briggs and Stratton 2.5 or 3 horse on it. No problems with fiberglass, ould obviously use a fresh coat of paint. It has 4 reflectors (tail lights) that go on the rear, have them.
I want to sell the pair together, ot separate them.
Would like to see 4200 for the pair together. Buyer will need to pick up. Car rolls fine, railer should be no problem. Or a flat bed if you are more local. I am in Beach Park, L 60099. Cash Payment upon pick up. Clear Title in hand, eys in hand. Ready to go.
