1 of 7141 Chevelle convertibles ever built in 1970 with a V8 engine.

Built in Baltimore Maryland the 1st week of May 1970, his Chevelle was invoiced and delivered to Lang Chevrolet Sales Inc, 001 N Broad Street, airborn, hio 45324.

Only 3 owners and always an Ohio car, he original owner lived in South Vienna, hio, he was 62 years old when she purchased the Chevelle new in 1970. The car remained in her name and care until she died in 1993 at the age of 85. The Chevelle had 44309 original miles on it at the time.

Only four weeks after her death the Chevelle was sold to a 56 year old man from Springfield, hio. Purchased as an investment, t was drove very little and kept in storage. This second owner repainted the car (retaining the original color of Forest Green) in 1998. The car remained in his name until it was sold to me this past October, 015. The Chevelle had 48084 miles on it at this time.

I purchased this car with full intention of turning it into a big block SS clone, ut after learning the cars original low mileage history, iscovering the car has a completely numbers matching drive train and after 46 years finding two build sheets hidden in the interior, made the decision to not dismantle the car.

The car still retains its original numbers matching drivetrain, 07 engine from carburetor to oil pan, riginal air cleaner, urbo 350 transmission, 73 ratio open rear end, ll original to the car.

All original metal, loors, runk, verything. All in very good original condition with no sign of accident damage. The frame is solid. There are a few scratches and dings in the driver quality paint, ut no dents.

All of the original tinted glass is in excellent condition, lear and bright with no scratches, ncluding the glass rear window.

It still retains its original white convertible top. The top has some imperfections, ut is still in very nice usable condition.

The original dash and steering wheel have no cracks and look excellent.

The weather stripping is in good original condition, ome of which has been replaced.

I just replaced both universal joints, t still had the original ones from the factory, he driveshaft was balanced and painted as well. I also installed new wiper blades, ood and trunk bumpers, ront sway bar bushings, ebuilt the original carburetor and installed new floor mats and all new AC Delco shocks.

The car still retains its original coil spring and sits perfectly level, he factor tags were still attached to the springs, have them saved and they come with the car.

The original spare tire and jack are in perfect condition.

The original owner’s manual is included.

The two high beam headlights are the original T3 from the factory.

Everything on this Chevelle works as it should, he power top operates perfectly, he turn signals cancel properly, ll interior and exteriorlights, auges, igarette lighter, ipers, ents, eat, ll locks (door, runk and glovebox) the original AM radio, verything!

Both doorsopen and close like new with absolutely no sag in the hinges. I removed both the front door panelsand rear side panels and greased all rollers,snugged every boltand adjusted the stopsas necessary. All four windows roll up and down effortlessly and the doors close solid with no rattles.

It starts right up, rives nicely down the road, he engine is quiet, he transmission shifts perfectly, t does not pull to either side while driving or braking, o squeaks, attles or vibrations, t is an absolute pleasure to own and drive. You will not be disappointed in the performance of this Chevelle, n fact I think you will be amazed.
