Chevrolet C-10 1971 Description
1971 Chevrolet c10 Cheyenne with 72k original miles. Clean title. The parts list is long and way out of control but I'll hit the high notes.
GM 350 crate motor with less than 10k miles. Edelbrock Performer Intake and Carb. Long Tube headers with heat wrap. New header plugs and wires. Chevrolet high rise valve covers.
350 turbo automatic tranny. Floor shifter with custom built shifter and knob.
Brand Hammer New stuff. When I say new, mean haven't seen the highway new...
Ridetech suspension with all upper and lower tubular control arms, nd drop spindles. 4/6 drop.
CPP tubular trailing arms in rear and CPP rear disc conversion. 4 wheel disc brakes.
20" Coys C5 rims with Toyo tires.
CPP C notch frame kit
CPP crossmember
CPP aluminum fuel cell
Painless performance 28 circuit wiring harness
Magnaflow dual exhaust
Champion aluminum radiator with dual fans
And much more......
I do have the rear bumper but was planning to customize it with cutouts for the exhaust but just haven't done it. That option can be yours.
Heating element under dash has been removed and bypassed on the engine. I was planning on doing a vintage air system. I have all the parts to install it back but the option is yours as well.
Truck is in excellent condition and rust is minimal. It's ready for you to add your finishing touches and make it your own. I'm selling as I am ready to move on to my squarebody. 2 trucks is too many.On Feb-21-16 at 19:29:17 PST, eller added the following information:
Edited to add the following:
There is a typo in the description stating 72k miles. The number should read 76k miles. The speedometer cable stopped working but the truck hasn't been driven since then.
Also wanted to add some condition scales.
Engine/Tranny - 9/10
Suspension - 8.5/10 (driver side is about 1" lower than passenger side, eeds some more adjusting and tinkering. There is some slight rubbing of the inner fender on big bumps but like I said, t just needs a little tinkering.)
Body/paint - 6/10 (this is the worst of the truck but as you can see in the pictures....it's not that bad, 'm probably judging it pretty tough. It's not a show truck in this category but if it was, ou wouldn't be buying it this cheap)
Rust - minimal. The worst is the cab floors where they meet the rockers. The floor has been chemically treated and is solid now but there was some rust that has created about a 1/4" gap. I have sealed it back but could use some new metal welded in. There is a few little rust spots here and there but not bad and mainly surface rust. The bed has a few dime sized holes but has since been treated and has a spray in bedliner.
Again, t's all about what you want, f you want a not give a darn if it gets scratched but still looks awesome and is fun to drive, ou got it. If you wanna win car shows and have a trailer queen truck, our gonna need to get it there with a little work. For the money and what your getting, t's a heck of a deal. It's in a perfect place for someone to get it and do some paint and body and make it their own or drive it like it is. I'm probably a tough judge because I own it and sometimes all I see is the imperfections that nobody else notices. For less than $15k this is a bad a$$ toy.
I have hopefully described the truck as best as I can, essage me with any questions and if you'd like to call me to talk.
Good luck!
