Chevrolet Corvette 1955 Description

Here is number 567 of the 700 total production 1955 Corvettes. It was built 60 years ago and has been in our family for the last 40 years. Now its time for a new owner to own and keep it for future generations. It has been kept in my heated indoor private garage since purchasing it back in the 70s. We restored it shortly after buying it but restored it again 20 years ago as a frame off project. When we stripped all the paint off we found the original color to be Silver Gray. There is no way to prove it came out of the factory with that color but it is the original first color that was found on the body. There are several items that are not original 1955 including the wheel covers and some parts under the hood and dash are missing.
