Chevrolet C-10 1966 Description

1966 Chevy Truck Half Ton One Owner Highly Optioned With Factory A/C and Tach

I purchased this from the original owner who is now 97 yrs old. He purchased it new to pull his stock cars. This truck is 100% complete and has never been altered or taken apart. He special ordered it with these rare options:

  • Factory A/C
  • Factory Tach
  • Heavy Duty 3 Speed Transmission
  • Heavy Duty Radiator
  • Factory 4 Way Flashers
  • Chrome Grill
  • Chrome Front and Rear Bumper

The camper was purchased at the same time as the truck by the original owner and has protected the original wood bed.

This is a very cool truck, hich was loved for many years. It has a lot of great options. Unfortunately, he truck is very rusty. The truck was stored outside, n grass, covered with a tarp, ormany years in Nebraska. I purchased it with the intention of parting it out,but can't bring myself to tear it apart, ecause it is so complete.

The bumpers and grill are nice driver quality. Most of the chrome is present and in decent shape. The Custom Cab trim is in excellent condition. The front bench seat is original and in decent condition with a split on the driver's side.

All glass is factory shaded (as part of the A/C package) and is all in good condition. The rear window was removed when it was new, nd is in perfect condition including the original "A/C" sticker. (pictured on the front seat)All of the A/C pieces are still there and intact, ncluding pulleys, ompressor/condenser, ash vents, ull knobs and temp control indash. Thesuper rare factorytachometeris still in the dash, nd worked when I laststarted it in Fall '15. The original wood bed is 99% intact and still has the originalblack paint. Some boards are getting soft due to small leaks in the camper. The frame seems to be straight and solid and I don't see any signs of an accident.

It has a 283 engine that runs and does not seem to smoke. The truck moves under it’s own power and goes into all gears. The brake lines are rusted, o it does not stop. The gas tank is shot, start it with an electric fuel pump and gas can. The battery is shot. I will lone one to assist in loading the truck if needed.

I will include all fouroriginalwheels and a spare V-8 A/C Radiator. The radiatorthat is in the truck currently does not seem to leak. All tires hold air, he truck rolls easily. The truck has a clean, lear Nebraska Title.

Again, he truck body is very rusty.

The truck is located in Omaha Nebraska. Sold "as is", where is"condition. All shipping costs and arrangements are buyer's responsibility, ut we can help with the arrangements. Buyer to pay $200 non-refundable deposit (to cover auction costs) within 24 hours of auction end. Remainder to be paid in cash in person or by bank wire within 7 days.
