Chevrolet C-10 1966 Description

Selling my old 1966 Chevy Pickup. Has an automatic transmission. It's a long bed and the cab has a big back window. I purchased the truck several years ago from fellow in New York who in turnpurchased it from someone in Texas. Believe the truck spent most of its life in Texas. The truck still runs pretty good. It does not knock, ackfire or stall out.It acts a little sluggish when I put in reverse, ust needs a little gas and she runs fine. It's usually stored in either my garage or a barn most of the time. I use it mainly to go fishing and just cruising in the summer time. Its been a really good truck and has never left me stranded. Has always got me to my favorite fishing holes and back at night.

The truck is fifty years old and does have its share of blemishes. Both doors have what looks like identical scratches on the lower part of the door. I believe some at one point loaded it onto a trailer that was too small and it scratches both the doors. I bought the truck without a tailgate but have purchased aNOS gate. It will need some fine tuning to get it on.

The engine is a 8 cylinder. Not sure about exact type. The engine block is stamped with... VO208AJF think this is outof an Oldsmobile Omega, aybe 1975

I was planning on removing the engine at some point with a crate engine but never got around to it. I did try and prepare for it though by adding power steering and disc brakes on the front and back. Did a lot of work under the truck as well, ew shocks, oil springs, railing arms and control bar. Most of my money went underneath the truck.

I am selling the truck "as is"
