This is a 1949 Chevrolet 5 Window 1 ton 9 foot beed truck.It is a project that I have been fooling with for years and realize I am not going to have time to finish.The Caband floors have almost 0 rust.Work done so far.new Front king pins,new brake shoes and wheel cylinders all 4,all new steel and rubber brake lines,new master cylinder and mount.converted to a dual brake system,12 volt alternater conversion,235 six cylinder full oil pressure engine,electric fan,new radiator,electric fuel pump,electronic ignition conversion,new wheels and like new tires on all 4,new motor mounts,rebuilt carb.The truck is a 4 spped with the granny gear it has the free floating 513 1 ton rear end.It has been driven and drove nice with good brakes but need finishing before road worthy.Most of the hard work has been done.It does need a fuel tank,I have it connected to a temporary marine tank for now.The battery needs charging or replacement.The seat has been redone.It is rare to find an old truck like this with a cab in such great shape,It deserves for someone to finish what I started.
