Chevrolet Other Pickups 1959 Description

1959 with all the extremely desirable and some VERY HARD to find parts/trim. This truck has the big rear window.Everything points to it being the original strong running engine. Three on the tree manual transmission. All the basic standard work done, new plugs, wires, rebuilt carb, oil, filters, brakes gone thru, electrical, lights, fuel system/tank, etc. Truckis the pedal start style where you turn thekeyon then step on the pedal to the right of the gas pedal.

Body work doneand solid paint job, white & " pistachio " paint scheme. All the trim/chrome, bright work, & I mean all!! Perhaps the highlight of this truck is the EXTREMELY HARD TO FIND rear bed spear trim, trim around front windshield & rear window. New door handles, rear view & side mirrors. Dash not cut up at all. all knobs including cigarette lighter, am radio ( not working ). Dome light housing ( have not checked to see if its working. ) Doors close solid, box hinges solid. New door rubber seals. Windows roll up & down without a problem. There's just a little rust spot inside cab and pictured. Seat is in good solid condition, no tears or rips or no springs popping thru.

Bed taken off and frame sanded, cleaned up, painted. Nice original California black plates. It's been said before by many others about their vehicles,,,, but this truck literally wouldn't take much to be a " Barrett Jackson " top contender. An oak bed & matching interior paint scheme and seat reupholstered to more correct style and color. Matter of fact, if this truck doesn't sell here, then that will be the next step for me, finish up above mentioned details & take it to auction.

Local inspection is welcome and suggested. Nothing to hide here. Pictures are worth a thousand words but these pictures don't do the paint job justice. I didn't have ideal outside lighting, equipment, showroom lighting, etc. some pics were taken with my cell phone, some with my Nikon which has a " gray blurry" spot so if you see some reoccurring spots itsmy camera's fault, not the paintjob.

This truck is being sold locally & I reserve the right to end this auction early. Non refundable deposit of 1,000 must be made within 48 hours of the end of the auction. Full payment due within 7 days. Wire transfer is acceptable, as is cash upon pick up. Buyer responsible for picking up vehicle or shipping. I know of a local place that ships and can make some suggestions.
